This wedding evoked a romantic woodland fantasy aesthetic with it's deep jewel tone color palette, warm candlelight, and lush florals and greenery. I did every floral arrangement from center pieces, to bouquets, to boutonnieres, down to the flower girls mossy little red riding hood basket and flower crown. I also picked the live potted plants that were rented for the ceremony and reception backdrops. I added sentimental elements to the decor to really make this wedding unique to this couple. At the cocktail hour the centerpieces featured the bride's great-grandfathers liquor bottle collection, and I decorated a "family tree" with framed photographs from all of the parents and grandparents wedding portraits. The candelabras used for the reception were real silver pieces saved from the brides parents wedding. Candlelight and fairy lights were used as the majority of the lighting to give the magical medieval feeling to every area. All signage was hand painted in a variety of fairytale book fonts. Going down to the detail is what I do for my clients to have a truly unique and customized event that will give them beautiful memories to hold on to forever.
